In the upcoming weeks, Growing Lots will be moving their farm (again) but to a location that will be a semi-permament spot for the next couple years. We are getting very excited about all the possibilities for next year! To support this move as we head into the fall, Growing Lots is throwing a Benefit Dinner on Saturday, September 17th.
The focus of this particular benefit will be a blind taste test of over 17 different meats (from ordinary to exotic), as we assess future livestock options on the rural farm site that we are developing. The meats will be local & organic, and primarily sourced through Clancey's Meats over in Linden Hills, great supporters of local farms. We will also be complimenting this with many vegetarian side courses, appetizers, desserts, and music. All the produce will be coming from our farm right now or utilizing plants that we plan on growing in the next growing season.
We will be throwing the lovely dinner in the yard at the abode of Farmer Stefan in the Powderhorn Neighborhood, and unfortunately space is limited to only 40 guests.
