Know someone in Minnesota who is dedicated to creating a healthier
planet? LiveGreenTwinCities wants to hear their story. Whether they're
creating urban farms, fighting against phone book waste, using recycled
materials in art, or starting eco-friendly companies and grassroots
campaigns, we want to hear about local folks taking green mainstream.
LiveGreenTwinCities will be showcasing Green Stars throughout the year. So far we've written about
Ed Kohler, a phone book vigilante, and
Lori Karis, the creator of Sweet Cheeks Baby Food. We're looking for all types of planet advocates--from restaurateurs helping to bring back the local farm to local businesses whose mission is to reduce our carbon footprint to designers who have turned recycling into an art form to grassroots organizers taking their green cause to the Capitol.
If you know someone who should be nominated as a Green Star, let us know. Email us at editor[at]LiveGreenTwinCities.com and tell us what unique things they're doing to make the world a little greener. The only rules? The need to be from Minnesota. And they need to be currently dedicated to the cause.
Now get to it! Send us those nominees! Your future Green Star will thank you. And so will the planet.
